i might be a lil late but depending on what you mean there are two options:
1: to make a save file in game just click on the save button at the bottom and pick a file
2: to play the game again after beating it click the "..." option on the main menu and the cat will ask to play again and you have to select yes all 3 (i think) times
You'll have to delete the two Persistent folders (one the game folder and one in the computer system folder). If you only delete one or only the save files it won't work:
If you want to play again with a full reset, you'll have to delete ALL save/persistent data from TWO game files:
-- one in the folder where you installed the game
Delete ALL save/persistent data in the save folder
-- AND one in these platform-specific locations on your computer:
Windows: %APPDATA%\RenPy
Macintosh: $HOME/Library/RenPy
Linux: $HOME/.renpy
Look for the 'DoNOTTakeThisCatHome' folder and delete ALL save/persistent data in it

ACUTALLY ONE OF THE FIRST GAMES ON HERE TO MAKE ME ALMOST CRY. I swear, my tears were about to fall. that ending was great and i cant wait for other games u make (if u plan on making more). I LOVED THIS, i partly feel bad for killing IT which what hurt the most. this game differently makes me think
1: The game is fully complete :D Any updates are just to fix any issues that might pop up or to add translations for other languages if I can!
2: I'm working on a project right now but it's definitely going to take a while since I'm a solo dev + full time worker TTwTT
3: The cat's gender is meant to be however the player sees fit, just like with the Player character in the game. Some people of other languages have defaulted to male since they lack gender-neutral pronouns, but anything's fine :D
4: I made the OST using Beepbox. It was my first time making soundtrack music, but it was a lot of fun!
5 / 6: I drew nearly everything myself with help from references. The backgrounds I didn't draw myself were photos on Pexels.com that I edited using Medibang
7a: The player character? Can be anything the player wants :D

I was looking for random games that was under horror or Psychological horror, and i came across this and thought huh, its a cat game whats the worst that could happen
The endings were so honestly insane, the creativity goes to a whole different level and i loved every single one of them, i reached the end and it surprised me even more and more
The symbolic story behind it or at least of what i managed to gather up made me surprised as i sat there and literally kept thinking to myself
This is so well made, the story is so well written, getting all the endings and then playing the final 'stage' was so worth it
words can't accurately describe how much i love this game. it was one of the very first itchio games i played so i think back on it from time to time, and a few days ago i decided to play it again - from scratch, all saves and progress deleted. and once again everything that captivated me about it the first time i played it, captivated me again. first of all, the art is ADORABLE (so is the cat but shh don't tell it that). cute and nice and clean - the music you chose for this is the same, i found myself liking it very much and how it matches the tone of the game quite well - like a mix of playfulness and it sort of reminds me of... weirdcore / liminal ? music which personally i love
NOW FOR THE GAME ITSELF AHHHHHH im so in love. getting the different endings was a lot of fun, very unique and creative too. i also found myself very drawn to the horror aspect of this game <3
now moving on to the cat and ending of the game - i actually found myself tearing up a bit, especially when we have a last conversation with it and it starts telling us that it loves us and to not leave it alone. because essentially,,, isn't it just like us?? lonely and alone.

I listened to a lot of weirdcore music to make the ost and was also inspired by experimental / ambient music in games like Yume Nikki, Omori and Drakengard. It was my first time trying it so I'm glad you like it! I'm also really glad you like game's story and ending :D
Though I don't consider this a scary game, I think it's fine and appreciate how the game uses horror as a storytelling tool. It’s not perfect, which is fine, but it has really good-with great art, sound design, and a genuinely beautiful story. The final ending honestly brought a few tears, though maybe that's my sappier side, the story is so beautiful (Sorry for the lack of a better word) and its relatable too, I don't know how to put in words how much I love this game, so I will just say with all my heart, thank you so very much for this wonderful and beautiful experience! this game was well worth my time, and maybe worth more, thank you!

im pretty sure its when you collect all the endings you can, then it tells you "you are ready" oh and the room is when you say "youre not taking the cat home" and it gives you options, its the "???" one

But above all, the message it has with it, after completing and understanding it, the message it leaves to the player is beautiful in my opinion, and very valuable, it's a shame that the game is not so well known...

Recently I've been thinking about the idea of having the game in the SPANISH language (yes, well, I speak Latin Spanish as my native language...) and although I understand English, having the game in Spanish seems -at least to me- a good idea. I don't know if you like the idea or not, but I was thinking that maybe I (Yes, a complete stranger, but enthusiastic about the game) can help you translate it into this language -Spanish- trying not to lose the atmosphere that the game tries to create with its texts (I don't expect anything in return, I clarify), if you want to comment on it, whether you agree or not, I'll be looking forward to it! This is not a virus warning by any means. This only shows up because the dev did not buy a validation certificate from Microsoft.
However, every time you download from this site, before you play, I recommend right clicking the folder and scanning with Microsoft Defender at least.
