I absolutely adored this game aaa!!!! It was so fun and funny to experience it with my friends on a discord Vc! :D I just have one tinnyyyyyyy question… is there a way to restart the game and remove all your progress in order to begin all the way at the beginning with no save data? I’m just curious :p needless to say tho I loved the game so much the cat was very cute :3
Thank you! I'm glad you and your friends enjoyed the game!
If you want to play again with a full reset, you'll have to delete ALL save/persistent data from TWO files -- one in the folder where you installed the game AND one in these platform-specific locations on your computer:
I created this account in order to comment on this masterpiece and by the way, if you don't mind, asking a few questions, which left me with a certain curiosity!
First of all, the game is absolutely incredible, the grammar, the story, "the cat", the terror, the jumpscares. Everything shows that it was done with a lot of effort and it was totally worth playing!
I must admit that I like the yandere genre and this game goes beyond the typical genre and tries a completely different one which I notice was successful.
About the questions (BEWARE SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT PLAYED IT)
1- I have been left with the intrigue of knowing the name of the creature and its species.
I also wondered the objective of it after meeting the protagonist... Did I enjoy watching him suffer in a loop? or was it just something like their food?
2- What kind of love was the creature referring to? And what do you think is the definition of love for the monster? In the end, if the protagonist had accepted that he was going to behave better, would he really have done it? Or would he simply take advantage of the situation?
Sorry if they're a bit long!, but I really love the game! and...I was quite scared by the screemers hehe. thank you for everything!
now I know how to be cautious before making a mistake and having a toxic person as a partner, especially if it's a cat lol
IT's name and species are never meant to be known -- I wanted to use soft worldbuilding to give IT a kind of mystery that makes its actions feel more alien and terrifying. IT is somehow able to bend reality and consume the wills of its victims to become stronger -- but there's no telling why IT does this. Is it by choice or necessity? Either way, the outcome would be the same for the protagonist which is why the MC has to make the choice to willingly become another victim or break free by defeating IT.
IT does find pleasure in messing with the protagonist -- like a cat playing with its prey before eating it. But again, since IT's motives and nature are so alien, it's meant to be impossible to tell if it genuinely enjoys the torture due to some innate instinct, or if that's just how IT shows affection or if it's just a jerk. IT's victims become food that give IT more power, but there's more to it than just that.
IT truly loves every single one of the victims IT possesses.
But IT doesn't know how to love humans.
It's not a romantic or even friendly love. It's a love that doesn't quit or let up -- a love that stifles and suffocates and obsesses and consumes entirely. IT's love can appear reciprocal at times (like in ending 22 or 27) but everything given is meant to be of benefit to itself in the long run. It's a love that is willing to give everything so long as it gets that and more in return. That's the thought I had when writing the story.
IT's love is meant to be as alien as IT's actions-- completely incompatible with humans, anyone would be crushed under the weight of that kind of love -- but it's also meant to be a little familiar too. The manipulation, the half-truths, lies, and deflection, the gaslighting and guilt-tripping, the punishments for not meeting its demands and standards -- they're things humans are familiar with, but we don't tend to apply them to any kind of healthy love.
I've seen a lot of people say that they'd want an ending where the protagonist stays with the cat, but that ending already kind of exists -- Ending 37: FOREVER. IT wants to possess the MC so wholly and completely that they lose their self and become part of IT. Nothing less than that will do.
Even in the end, IT saying "i hate you" is more than just lashing out upon being defeated and rejected -- it's one last act of manipulation aimed to hurt and guilt the MC for denying IT's love. With its dying breath, IT tries to possess the MC in any way it can.
Sorry for the long reply, but it's fun talking about the thoughts I had when writing the game!
Thank you so much for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed the game and the story!
Took me a bit to get ending 20 cuz im too good at the maze XD
Got them all though. Very fun, dark, ooky spooky, thrilling. I saw a comment saying that it was boring but honestly they just didn't play right. Amazing art, sound effects, super cute kitty. I recommend
The protagonist's name and age are left up to the player's interpretation (though they're old enough to be working and living on their own). Most of the background images are blurred and distorted because I was going for a surreal atmosphere for the game!
wonderful work,as a horror movie addict i rarely get scared by games ,but those music were quite impressive working together with those scenes ,got me several times
i like ending 22!i'd like to experience that, must be very comforting
ending 4 and the dog park is scary enough for me,I really enjoyed those imaginations, that ausum gamer medal is amusing,it’s hard to find a game both cute and scary, excellent
this was awesome!! the endings were each unique and special in their own way. i think the FINAL ending was kinda funny! since yk...he got what he feared for 39 endings.
Great game! I streamed it on discord and me and my friends really liked it! I thought the art was nice and cohesive and the sound design is pretty good! Some of the endings were really inventive! Of course, the game design was really simple but eh, still a good game.
I really cried a lot. 1. bc I hoped for a more happy ending 2. My cat sat in my lap, and it made me emotional. It's an amazing game. :) Really happy to found this treasure.
randomly found this while scrolling through itch.io for horror games. decided to play it in a discord vc with others because I thought the name of the game was funny and ended up spending 6-7 hours getting every ending. my throat was sore from voice acting the dialogues (I always do this for fun with others) and when I finally finished the game I felt so relieved that it was FINALLY over. 40 endings is a lot.

we gave the lost souls or whatever the big black blob of random people was country and british accents because we were bored. it was kinda funny. I named the cat timothy because they didn't want to give us their name and nobody likes people named timothy.
8.9/10 game. it's not replayable for me but it was certainly disturbing (and funny at times). it was fun to try and guess how I would die considering every choice I made lead to death. most of the endings had me gaping at my screen LOL but the story was a little confusing to understand. still. do NOT take this cat home
oh. my. GOD. Words cannot describe how every little bit of me enjoyed this game. The art is so deceivingly adorable. The ending mechanics/fourth wall breaks in regards to loading and saving I absoutely LIVE for, and they were executed in this game so well. Almost Each and every ending is so fascinatingy morbid in it's own creative ways. I also enjoy the underlying metaphor of overcoming mental health issues, it's very potent and heart warming. While most of the jumpscared didnt get me, I did jump a little for some, and I can definately say that a more jumpy person would JUMP OUT OF THEIR SKIN. So that's a delight! Overal, one of the most creative save/load mechanic horror games I have played, very enjoyable and disturbing.

Hello, I played this game, and I really enjoyed it. I got a bunch of endings, which were all great! Good work.
Cool! Thank you so much for playing!
Make a illustration of the player. (you can make it look what ever you like)
Took me a bit to get ending 20 cuz im too good at the maze XD
Got them all though. Very fun, dark, ooky spooky, thrilling. I saw a comment saying that it was boring but honestly they just didn't play right. Amazing art, sound effects, super cute kitty. I recommend
Haha! I figured that ending would be tougher to find for people who beat the maze first try!
Thanks for trying out the game!
Of course it was super fun and I got my twin to play it as well
and also what is the players name age and is the images thay are blurred your real house?
the blurred images are drawings bro
well wth does the player look like bruh?
whenever his appearance is shown or alluded to in the game, he's just a featureless gray dude but so is nearly everyone else
i guess he looks like whatever
make a illustration of him
a bit of a quickie, but i think this is a valid look
if he looks boring, well, yeah . . he would . .
if pixeliminal happens to draws him then disregard this i guess
why would they put their home in the game
cause i would
crazy
The protagonist's name and age are left up to the player's interpretation (though they're old enough to be working and living on their own). Most of the background images are blurred and distorted because I was going for a surreal atmosphere for the game!

ending 4 and the dog park is scary enough for me,I really enjoyed those imaginations, that ausum gamer medal is amusing,it’s hard to find a game both cute and scary, excellent

the cat looked cute at first, but that thing is for real terrifying!
Thank you so much!
I wanted the cat's design to be cute while being a little off-putting, so I'm glad!
This is one of the best games I've played in a while. With someone with agoraphobia, this really resonated with me and made me feel seen.
Thank you so much! I'm glad the story and its themes were able to connect with you!
Great game! I loved it. I got all the 40 endings, thanks to your guide. The story was so creepy and eerie!

they are literally unable to add it to android
Sorry, it won't be able to work properly on android/mobile
