Hi, I really enjoyed your game! Would you be interested if I localized into spanish? It'll be for free, I just want to get into the bussiness and work in some projects for fun and experience. Cheers!
I am writing to offer my assistance in localizing your game into the Russian language on a pro bono basis. I am a second-year translation student, majoring in "Translation and Interpreting Studies." For me, this would be invaluable practical experience and a crucial addition to my portfolio, as I aim to build a career in game localization.
The Russian-speaking gaming community is vast and highly engaged. Having Russian localization for your game can help you reach this significant audience and attract new players.
I would be truly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to your project.
I played this entire game in one day, that's how good it was. This game should be SOLD, it should NOT be free for how good it is. Sent you 10$ because this game is worth at LEAST that much. Great work!
This was an absolutely beautiful game. So unique and so well done, one of my favorite games about mental health I've ever played. I also love that it can be interpreted in a lot of different ways based on what personally resonates with the player. The horror aspect was also super well done, I played it on stream so it was a lot of talking but so worth it. I have a cat that looks exactly like this one and I kept having to look over to make sure she wasn't gonna eat me LMAO 12/10 game very very well done.
I don't remember it very well after 21 hrs of gameplay but i think you get the ending (it doesn't show in the endings gallery tho) 'not a sucker' or something along those lines
(SPOILERS FOR THE WHOLE GAME, BEST PLAYED BLIND) This made me oddly emotional. As much damage as "the cat" does throughout, I wanted it to learn and be happy. I wanted the best for it even as it tormented me through all 40 endings. The way it consistently seems to start off as a normal cat, and only gets angry when the protag "messes up"- even if that's fake for the plot, as someone with BPD... That anger felt very relatable, as well as the urge to WAY overreact about it, and felt oddly realistic from the protags pov as well despite everything in the final conversation- The cats intentions were never good, but they're so, HEARTWRENCHINGLY understandable and human. Having such strong horror and blood and death and still manage to make the "cat" sympathetic is a hard balance to strike and it is NAILED perfectly.
My favorite endings are probably the chocolate ones (damn moral anxiety for something you didn't even DO) and the one where the cat and the protag just go on murder sprees. As well as the true ending obviously, it made me tear up bad.
Even if the cat the protag adopts has nothing to do with the "cat" I choose to believe it does and the "cat" learned and somehow became a normal cat ok. I want it and the protag to be happy so bad
this game is honestly one of my favourites ever. im not usually a big fan of horror, but this is really good. i am stuck though on how to get endings 28 and 29, considering i haven't gotten the right prompt
This is my first itch.io-downloaded game and first horror game (I'm a real scaredy-cat, unlike IT lmao).
But even though, I am slightly traumatised (just kidding but the jumpscares got me, the cat with real teeth is horribly creepy). Each End is really original, I anticipated only partially and only a little of them soooo. And some of them were scarier than others lol I felt like the developer guessed the choices most players would have made first for that creepy atmosphere to increase (not to mention the additional details when the protagonist unconsciously remember something, chocolate and yarn, huh?).
Typography and punctuation are also really well used. I love the face that the menu changes during our progression in the game!
And even if, perhaps, I could have misunderstand the moral of the story, the amount of many mental disorders or simply states of mind which are represented (loneliness, depression, anxiety, self-hatred…). There was a mention of abuse too. To be honest, at first, I thought IT was just an allegory of his suffering cause the protagonist mentioned that nobody except him seems to notice the meowing before going in the alley. And, as a result, we appreciate even more the happy ending, the resilience of the protagonist (WHO FINALLY F*CKIN’ STAND OUT FOR HIMSELF) and the little kitten that look like my own cat (who doesn’t miss an eye though). I wouldn’t have recover from a sad ending haha!
Anyway, thank you so much for letting people play this game for free!!! :D
And if someone has any recommendation of CUTE game available on Mac, I’ll take it for sure! (I definitely need a break, now)
this game is honestly so good, i loved getting every ending and found them all very interesting too. Which makes it one of the few games alongside omori, ddlc, NSO and a few more games where i actually paid attention instead of skipping trough most of it :) (sorry for my bad english, isnt my first lanuage lol)
hi! so i have just gotten the true ending and really enjoyed the game! i just had this one question because i noticed i still missed ending 37, i wonder if i choose to play again with the cat, will all of my former progress be lost? 😥
nope!! I've tried it, you do need to do the whole end part im pretty sure, after you choose "play again" you'll miss the last 4 endings obtained by doing the end part sooo... not everything, only the "true Ending" lol.
As someone currently stuck in a position where it's either abuse or homelessness, this hits close to home. This is an amazing game, I devoured it in one session. Thank you
Hello! Is there an email or any other way I could contact you privately regarding a Hungarian translation for the game? If you're open to it, I'd be happy to contribute so more players can enjoy it!
Hi! I’d love to help with Russian localization for your project. I’m passionate about making content accessible to a wider audience and happy to translate, proofread, or test the game. I’d be excited to contribute and be part of the process!
This game is amazing, i never thought I would find something that was as fun and spoke to me like slay the princess did and this game did! I wish I had more to say but everything about this game is great! from the cute art to the haunting music to the gameplay! Amazing!! I can't wait to see what you make next!
Found this on a whim while trying to download a clicker game that wouldn't run on my PC, so I just went and played this instead. Glad I did that, I was pretty hooked. I did spoil myself on the main theme of the game as I decided to look at the comments before downloading it, but it didn't ruin the experience at all. It really took me through an experience of demoralization mixed in with fatigue, wrath, and the occasional bits of pride that refused to let me get in. Yet at the end of it all, despite the MC's abuser literally being something other than subhuman, I still kind of hope that eventually *it* does become a good kitty. That *it* learns to love and that the next person that comes across *it* will be happy. In *it* I see something that I see inside of both myself and the MC. Loneliness. The inability to truly connect with someone, and yeah, it hurts to see someone go through that. At the same time, no one should have to suffer just because you're sadistic and lonely. Sucks to suck stupid cat :P
I also do appreciate the message that some people's love is meaningless. So what if an abuser loves you? So what if they care for you and depend on you? They can love you all they want but if they aren't capable of doing that without intentionally hurting you, they don't deserve you. You don't owe anyone anything just because they like you.
If I had any critiques of the game, I'd say:
1. It's a tad bit too long. 40 endings? Yeesh. I get that I don't have to do all of them to reach the good ending, and I didn't because in true bad bitch fashion, once I got the good ending and left that hoe, It, I committed and didn't go for other endings. Like, I suppose it does make for a good overall interactive experience for the point of what it's trying to do, which is put you in the shoes of someone in an abusive relationship, that being said, going back and getting those endings to reach that point felt a tad bit tedious.
2. Perhaps it does lean a bit into negative stereotypes about cats. The idea that they don't really care about us. They just want food and shelter. That's not true though, some of the most motherly, kindest animals I've been around are cats. The game maker would probably agree with me, I mean the game literally ends with the MC adopting a new cat that's actually in need, but it was something I was thinking about while playing the game. It makes me wonder if the themes would've worked better if we were lured in with a puppy instead of a cat, since dogs are generally seen as more loyal and protective.
All that being said, honestly, when taking everything into account, my criticisms are really nitpicks on an overall great VN. 9/10 < ( : * 3 ) <
Oh wow, thank you so much for your in-depth comment! :D
I'm really glad you tried out the game and ended up enjoying it. The hope of IT growing and eventually finding happiness is a sweet one. Sometimes that hope is really all we can offer until someone decides to change for the better. It meant a lot to me that the idea of love being meaningless in an abusive relationship came through in the story and I'm glad it resonated with you too.
If I ever do a story like this again though, I'll have to go easy on the endings so the message isn't buried or lost X'D
I definitely agree with you about negative stereotypes forced onto cats. I did worry that especially I was reinforcing them for black cats that are often seen as unlucky. So it was really important to me that the kitten in the end looked similar to IT. Not just for the themes of personal healing after bad relationships, but because I wanted a black cat for a happy ending :')
Back here after a year or more. That game is actually the best thing I ever played. Graphics is so pretty, even scary moments looks absolutely stunning. Amount of endings is crazy, I'm very glad I did it all. The true endng act shocked me, ngl..
Jumpscares? Actually scary. It's always different and you never know when it will appear. I still have trauma from "Dog person" ending🎉
Soundtrack..Oh gosh, I love it. I have almost the whole OST in my music library, it's so nice to listen, it fits the vibes. I never regretted playing it, but I hope there will be an android port sometime..
I won't spoil much from the game but I've watched gameplays of it, and plan to play all of it myself, but this game crushed me in the best way possible. It's not a horror game relying on cheap jumpscares, it deeply messes with your feelings, especially for someone who has had a similar experience with cold and distant parents and toxic friendships and/or romantic relationships. A good horror game is something you CAN'T get used to, and this is definitely a perfect example of that. Severely underrated, please add it to your horror game list!

my opinion:
Art style: 10/10; so smooth i love it
Gameplay: 8/10; just your standart visual novel, 8 out of 10 of all the creativity of the endings
History: 10/10; the history is so inmersive i love it too
i would recommend this to a visual novel fan, is so good
PD: all 40 endings lets gooo
