i just realized..we stab the cat with a glass shard A GLASS SHARD not a knife or anything A GLASS SHARD and the thing about glass shards? ITS SHARP EVERYWHERE so while stabbing the cat we might have cut ourselves too and i think that might be a metaphor that letting go of a toxic relationship hurts most of the time no matter what LIKE
I was looking for random games that was under horror or Psychological horror, and i came across this and thought huh, its a cat game whats the worst that could happen
The endings were so honestly insane, the creativity goes to a whole different level and i loved every single one of them, i reached the end and it surprised me even more and more
The symbolic story behind it or at least of what i managed to gather up made me surprised as i sat there and literally kept thinking to myself
This is so well made, the story is so well written, getting all the endings and then playing the final 'stage' was so worth it
words can't accurately describe how much i love this game. it was one of the very first itchio games i played so i think back on it from time to time, and a few days ago i decided to play it again - from scratch, all saves and progress deleted. and once again everything that captivated me about it the first time i played it, captivated me again. first of all, the art is ADORABLE (so is the cat but shh don't tell it that). cute and nice and clean - the music you chose for this is the same, i found myself liking it very much and how it matches the tone of the game quite well - like a mix of playfulness and it sort of reminds me of... weirdcore / liminal ? music which personally i love
NOW FOR THE GAME ITSELF AHHHHHH im so in love. getting the different endings was a lot of fun, very unique and creative too. i also found myself very drawn to the horror aspect of this game <3
now moving on to the cat and ending of the game - i actually found myself tearing up a bit, especially when we have a last conversation with it and it starts telling us that it loves us and to not leave it alone. because essentially,,, isn't it just like us?? lonely and alone.
and the way we describe the following weeks after, of the doubts of our choices but ultimate relief that it's gone - AEHHHHHH TELL ME THAT ISN'T AN ALLEGORY FOR ESCAPING A TOXIC AND UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIP UGHHHHHH tears man. tears in my eyes holy shi
anyways thank you so much for creating this game, will always have a vv special place in my heart </3333
Though I don't consider this a scary game, I think it's fine and appreciate how the game uses horror as a storytelling tool. It’s not perfect, which is fine, but it has really good-with great art, sound design, and a genuinely beautiful story. The final ending honestly brought a few tears, though maybe that's my sappier side, the story is so beautiful (Sorry for the lack of a better word) and its relatable too, I don't know how to put in words how much I love this game, so I will just say with all my heart, thank you so very much for this wonderful and beautiful experience! this game was well worth my time, and maybe worth more, thank you!

top (whatever number) questions i have:
1: is there going to be any update of DNTTCH
2: what other games do you plan on making?
3: what gender is the cat (i know its an IT but i need like a proper pronoun)
4:what music was created by?
5:how do you make these images?
6:where some of the background images real places?
FINAL QUESTION... the most unanswered one ive been trying to think of SINCE 5 MONTHS
